| General Description: |

Software Engineer with up to 10 years of hands on Web development programming experience in a customer driven environment. Experience with Web development and object oriented design and development methodologies are a must. Specific experience in several of the following web centric areas WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache/Tomcat, Internet Information Services, ANT, ASP.NET, CSS, VB.NET, XML, XSLT, PHP. PERL, CGI, Flash, Dreamweaver, Cold Fusion, SharePoint, HTML, DHTML, PYTHON, AJAX, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, J2EE, JDBC, Eclipse, ANT, Struts, JUNIT, JBOSS, NetBeans, JSP, JSF, and JSTL is necessary. Candidates should have development experience in either the UNIX/LINUX or Windows environments utilizing Configuration Management tools such as, ClearCase, RCS, CVS, Razor, or Subversion. Must have knowledge of Agile / Feature Driven Design methodologies and ability to adapt to changing requirements from the customer. Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required. Must be a team player and willing to work in government spaces.
Preferred: Full software development lifecycle experience with SIGINT engineering projects. Prior experience with rapid development of web based systems that collect, process, forward, or present information to users in an efficient and intuitive manner is a plus. Demonstrated experience with the ability to lead and mentor other web developers is important. A Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired. Candidates with certifications (CIW, WOW, SCJP, SCJD, SCWCD, SCDJWS, SCEA) will be given additional consideration.
