Test Engineer with up to 10 years of hands on Software and/or Systems Test experience in a customer driven environment. A minimum of a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Systems, or Information Systems Management is required. Candidates should have extensive experience UNIX/LINUX/Windows environments testing systems or applications written in C, C#, C++, or Java. Candidates must experience with creating full life cycle documents such as requirements, test cases, test and execution plans as well as creating test datasets. Must have experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby or shell programming languages in an installation, configuration, or test scenario environment. Additionally, experience with Testing and Configuration Management tools such as a TestDirector, WinRunner, XRunner, LoadRunner, SilkTest, Doors, ClearCase, ClearQuest, CVS, Ravor, RCS and Subversion is required. Candidates must have good understanding of software quality assurance, traceability, and Independent Validation and Verification best practices. The Test Engineer must have strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with other Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Configuration Managers, end users, and customers.
Preferred: A Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Systems, or Information Systems Management, or a related field is desired. Full software lifecycle experience with SIGINT engineering projects. Demonstrated prior experience with AGILE and Feature Driven Development projects is a plus. Candidates with certifications (CTPP, CSQA, CSTE) and Test Manager experience will be given additional consideration.
