As President, Martin will be responsible for the day-to-day management of ProObject’s eight Technical Service Practices and Customer Service Units. Martin, 40, had served as Vice President and Director of Technology for the company.
The changes are part of ProObject’s larger effort to create an organization geared for sustained, profitable growth as a mid-sized contractor in the Intelligence Community. Martin, who joined ProObject in March 2000, will be responsible for the performance of the eight practices reporting to him as well as the operating activities of those practices.
“John has made significant contributions to the progress of ProObject over the past eight years.” Young said. “Martin has been in the trenches; he has held various senior management positions and has a superior understanding of our business’ needs. He established our Real-time and Embedded Systems practice. He created a satisfied and loyal customer base. As Vice President and Director of Technology, John worked successfully with other practice leaders to keep ProObject on the leading edge of technology. Over the past 12 months, he helped create and manage ProObject Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Map. The leadership that John has exhibited makes him well suited to take on additional responsibilities and to build on our past successes. I am confident that ProObject’s practices will reach new heights under John’s leadership.”
